Default Reluctantly selling ....

the Panther is showing up tomorrow and I need the garage space. So, even though I love the car, I am selling my 2004 XK8 vert. If you've followed my posts you know it has new upper shock mounts and a hydraulic top pump pressure limiter. 33358 miles and I'll throw in the uncovered rear seat delete.
Thought I'd gauge the interest on the forum before going more public. Would like to get $25,000.

It seems like a fantastic car! But I suspect most everyone on the board has an XK and few will need a second one....Since you are in a low population area you will most probably have luck selling on eBay...Cheers

Well kind of hate to brake this to you but I will be putting my 03 up for sale probbly next week. 40K on the clock, factory windscreen, vert top limiter and option to go manual top. Have been watching ebay for a few weeks and based on the market I think I will get between 11500 and 12500 for it.

OK, I admit I'm waffling on this. Every time I walk past my XK8 I fall in love with the shape. And it is a nice cruising car.
Decided to keep it and finish the rear seat delete as well.

The panther is a reproduction of the Jaguar SS100 made in the 80's. (in UK) I think they were about 40k when new. And NOT kit cars.
Reluctantly selling ....-image.jpgthis is actually the "kallista" Panther.
Beautiful car but a bit too "vintage" for me right now! My dad had one in the early 90's but sold it within a year. He was offered too much to turn down!!

Glad to hear you're keeping the Jag.

Gippsland - here is a link for the Panther - modeled after the SS100

Sunbeam made a Tiger in the 60s: Sunbeam Tiger - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Have a 64 that has been one of those long term projects that never seems to progress or get done. Keep getting distracted by the other cat in my life.

I've loved Sunbeam Tigers since I first saw one as a teenager in the late 1960s. I've probably seen just two or three of them since. If you get a chance, I'd enjoy seeing some photos of yours, Charlie....

It really does, I think it even has a spot marked atop the radiator grille waiting for it. Like a round base just expecting the owner to grace it with a leaper.

Ken,that's just a magnificent car. 1 of only 368 built in the UK and yours is left hand drive..makes the list even shorter! That looks better than my favourite coupe, the Bentley used in the Avengers series, next was the early Morgans. You must be very happy to own it.
