Welcome to the forum maf100,
The installer will have probably have used the harness connector which is there to enable fitting the optional Jaguar phone. This connector is underneath the Centre Console. A good installer will fit the proper connector to leave original harness intact. A butcher will cut and splice!
You should add further details of the setup in your vehicle - whether it is complete or partly removed and if you are intending to install a newer phone.
When you get a minute, please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Thanks Graham
I have, as suggested, read the new members section and completed the intro post. I've yet to take photos of the new car - I have only had it 2 days and yesterday was so wet I left it tucked up in the garage!
As for the phone, I would like to remove it but would also like to take the cables out. I guess the centre console will need to come out and hopefully it will just be a case of unplugging the harness.
Thanks again for the tip.
Best wishes
