No power as in 'completely dead' or partially functioning but won't track backwards / forwards to allow access to the four securing bolts?

i read someone said you could put power to your seat track motor from an outside battery and then get the bolts out that way. I suppose power to the module would do the same thing...depends if you can reach it.

Get your electrical schematic and see if you can 'jump' the seat!

Very little space to work under there especially if the seat is stuck in the fully lowered position.

H2Oboy has the best plan but if that doesn't work, you'll have to look at moving it manually. The track motor for front to rear movement is item 3 on the top drawing:

See if there's a square on the drive or on the motor you can get a wrench on to turn.

Assuming the passenger seat is working, try swapping controllers (the grey box under the seat) between passenger and drivers seats temporarily.

+1

The case lid is weak and often found damaged. The securing bolts on mine were completely ripped out and I had to replace it:

Shown here with the seat out but you can easily get to them with the seat in place.

Let's see if this link will work. I was able to jumper my seat motor to move it back and forth, when I was unable to do so using the switches and such. See the bottom of this thread -

The diagram was small, so I could not determine what to do.
