Replacement inside mirror

Replacement inside mirror
My auto-headlights are not working. The lights work in all other positions on the switch so I am reasonably sure it is the sensor in the rear view mirror. I found a mirror for sale but I am unsure if it is the correct one. The part number is xr845625agd. Any assistance with verifying that this is the ciorrect part would be appreciated. Thanks

Saved!
Thanks Brad. I finally got the right number and it was for a '98-99 w/o rain sensor. I have a 2001 with rain sesnosr. You saved me at least the shipping to return it, and the aggravation of buying the wrong part. I will be moving to Port Charlotte in August. Maybe we'll need to do a cruise together. Ciao

Good advice here on sourcing the right mirror from the many Part Number changes over the Model Years and on the dangers of leaking gel.
The two options for a fault with auto headlights are the sensor on the mirror and the rotary column switch. With the column switch set to auto, the headlights should come on if you cover the mirror sensor with electrical tape to mimic darkness.
If the light don't come on, I'd further investigate whether it's the sensor or the switch before buying replacement parts.
