Replacing seat switch pack without removing seats
Afternoon,
I've got a replacement seat switch pack from a breakers. I've looked into how to install it, and it involves removing the seat. Removing the seat requires me to move the seat fowards and backwards.
As the seat switch pack is broken, I can't move the seat forwards or backwards. Does anybody have any suggestions to either move the seat manually, remove the seat without moving it, or replace the seat switch pack without removing the seat ?
Thanks.

Are you looking to replace the switches on the side of the seat, or the module under the seat? If the module, there are two 10 mm nuts holding it in. You can then disconnect the cables. When working on electrical connections it is wise to disconnect the neg. battery cable to avoid voltage spikes to the system.

For the switches on the side, I thought they snapped in? I don't have it in front of me, but I recall that the module has a hook on one side and has a clip on the other, so if you could undo the clip it should come out.
What I don't know is if there is enough service loop in the wire to pull it out far enough to unplug it.

I know it's the switches because one of the switches fell off
It worked before that happened, and didn't after, so I'm guessing something broke inside when the switch fell off.
