Report: 130,000 mi. on my 2000 XKR and all's well!
Well, mostly. The XKR over the last 20 months has become my default daily driver. I think that officially makes me a Jag man. And at 130k on the clock, it's still purring at least as well as the day I bought it at 123k. No CELs even. Mileage is great, boost is good, speed is the best. Having OCD is the worst...
In that time, I've had a couple oil changes, replaced a couple heater hoses hiding under the SC and flushed the SC fluid (by motorcarman), replaced my rear hydraulic top lines (fronts already done) and had the pump rebuilt (Top Hydraulics), dropped in a new regular air filter, replaced the center console's stack plastic bezel divider, hooked up a charging iPhone input, replaced the battery, replaced bulbs and cleaned the rear lamp assemblies, had the wheels refinished and replaced the centercaps, put on new Continental DWS tires (resized the rears), added 20mm H&R spacers all around to get a more modern stance, and added a lovely top cover for when it's down for a nice roadster look. And a tweed flatcap for me.
But there's still a laundry list that I need to do (from Notes on my iPhone, one for each vehicle, ha):
New overhead console- fluid way back from the green shower from the PO still occasionally seeps out of the lamp buttons. I'm going to just replace it.
Trac Control button is seized up- this whole row is still gummed up for some reason even after hosing it w/ electrical cleaner, need to resolve.
Odd driver's side rattle forward of the rear wheel, may be an exhaust hanger.
Fix antenna to where it's connected again but doesn't rise up- need AM for talkradio. I stupidly cut the wire because I couldn't unplug it, before I knew about the fuse long ago...
Install replacement fuel filter- already have, GM part.
Try lack of steering rack boost by pulling fuse, wire up switch if desirable to keep HVAC going on that circuit.
Install RealGauges! Already have both. Too hot or busy lately.
Driver's door card clip repair- top/rear corner is loose.
Install hidden trunk release cable hack if battery is ever dead.
New spark plugs (and wires?).
Air hose mod- remove venturi tubes.
Replace bonger in the steering wheel to restore turn signal, etc. sounds.
Install a proper, matching full-size spare.
Replace floor mats.
Replace shifter surround with chrome piece.
Adamesh springs and shocks.
Exhaust work, TBD- likely removing pre-axle 'mufflerettes' and installing Flowmaster mufflers; custom under-axle routing desired.
Replace front leather seat hides.
Remove rear seats and build a flat shelf like Phil's.
Paintless dent removal (PDR) and re-polish.
Alignment, adjustments.
Determine if CATS is working or not- no difference felt unplugged or engaged.
Long-term plan- full paint respray of the car; was already done by PO but shop didn't remove the original layer! Divots where the old chips are! @#$%. Looks great at 10'...
And to be done by motorcarman perhaps late this year when I'll plan to visit again:
Check control arms, bushings- feels a bit loose at speed.
CV boot replacement or two- one is cracked.
Windshield washer tank replacement- OE one leaks as fast as it's filled.
Install trans adaptor (MB part) with trans service- already have part, no leaks yet.
Secondary fuel pump replacement- OE one is dead.
Confirm tensioners replaced- primary and secondaries were said to be by PO who owned an indy Jag shop but I haven't put eyes on them to verify.
Suggestions welcome, btw. So now it's damn the torpedoes, and just letting the miles rack up. I'd like to get to 200k.

Very true. The PO (again, who used to own an indy Jag shop here, err, managed) said both were done. I trust him, but I still want to see it for myself. Definitely not an afterthought for sure.
