Default Reset door window

2005 XK8 convertible. When I open the door and the window drops a little bit it won't go back up when I shut the door. The left time this happened my shop just had to "reset" the window? How do I do that to see if it will fix it again?

Run the window and hold the button until the window stops moving and you hear a click about a second later. You need to get the click in both directions.

Default Probably low battery charge

Get battery tested. Most garages will do it for free. If it’s old, just get a new battery. If car isn’t driven often, get an intelligent battery minder/tender to keep the car battery charge up.

If situation continues, you have a battery drain somewhere. Pull fuses until you see current draw is low approx. 150mA
