Rocker noise has me worried

You need to get a real and proper diagnosis and not one based on what you're hearing on videos, from friends who have had similar noises....Don't jump to any conclusions without that. You wouldn't suggest to your patients to self-diagnose, so don't do it yourself.
I've taken the car to 2 Mechanics. I have been unimpressed with them and that is what fueled the posts. As soon as they here the knocking in the engine, they go no further an say yep, it's the pistons. They expanded during low oil pressure. I hate to think one bad filter destroys an engine. This is a frustrating thing to deal with. I am not mechanically gifted but will attempt the fuel pressure test. I may just go get it changed for the heck of it. It cheaper than an engine.

Might be interesting reading. Lots of "R" fuel pump failures.

Well just to keep you updated.
I got a wires fixed near the starter. Maybe during one of the jump starts it blew. I was able to drive it for about a week, then on the way home I hear a pop... Then saw large amounts of black smoke then an ugly rattle sound and the "limited performance" light. I made it to about 2 miles from the house ....
She died! While waiting for the tow truck I saw her blood ...I mead large amounts of what appeared to be oil pouring from underneath.

I can't tell what the problem is from that photograph. What's being pointed at?
And I must say...if you were quoted $ 8,000 - 9,000 dollars to install an engine with 60,000 miles on it...and now that price has just risen another $ 1,200...those numbers seem significantly higher than anything I've read on this forum. Do you trust this shop?
Just seems very high to me.

Ouch! Well you did warn me not to look. I guess JB Weld is out of the question.
+1 on the pricing. Some months ago there was a rash of blown engines and I don't remember anyone paying above $4k for the engine (with oil pan and all) without labor. Jeff in Tucson probably spent that for his engine replacement, but it included some serious upgrades to hit the 600HP level.
You may be committed at this point, so I would pull everything off you can for spares. The supercharger would be a good place to start.

Just an update, the engine was destroyed, I have a picture I'd hate to share where a rode punched a hole through the block. Anyway after spending a small fortune, it drove well but I had a few periodic error codes. Worried of other potential problems I cashed out and got a Jag XF. 2009. I will probably go back to another XKR in 1 year.
