Pretty Ms. Bluefin, Once again, Call Mark, he's the President of Frozen Rotors and tell him what you want.....He will get the Rotors and Freeze them for you...but he won't give them away! In the end, they will last at least twice as long as just buying regular Jaguar rotors...so if you plan to keep the car for several years, this is the only way to go!
Tell him that Billy Clyde in Houston sent you! (1-800-323-8456)

You might ask him about those Ceramic Brake Pads as they are awfully hard....I think they have to be really warm to work properly....Much more brake than you need on the Street, they are made for Racing.....

Pretty Ms. Bluefin, My Brake Pads, as I told you earlier, are Hawks....Their is no Dust with them and they are not Ceramic.....The European Brake Pads such as the ones that came on your Jag and those BMW's all put-out dust! That why they seem to always have dirty Wheels. Anyway, they do not have to be Ceramic to be Dustless!

Yes! Ms. Bluefin, It has the "R" Performance package! Remember the "R" we were talking about......It also has the "Red" Calipers Package!

I know this is an older thread, but just FYI, the rotors on the cars equipped Brembos and also with the handling package (coupes only, I believe) are larger than regular Brembos. There are not a lot of options outside of SNG Barratt and the dealership.

Can you clarify, or substantiate?

To my knowledge, there are 3 levels for the front:
  1. The original '97 and '98 305mm rotor
  2. The '99 and later XK8 and _base_ XKR with single piston ATE caliper and 325mm rotor
  3. The Brembo upgraded 4-piston caliper XKR (silver or Red) with 355mm front rotor

"Brembo" is a bit misleading as, I believe, they make all kinds of rotor sizes for all kinds of cars. Might even make that 325mm for all I know.

I have browsed brakeperformance.com and rockauto.com and it seems these are the rotor sizes that come up.

I know for a fact they make that one - I have two I ordered by mistake that I'm trying to get rid of in the classified section. They'll fit 2003 (and possibly other) XKR and XJR models with Brembo brakes, but not if it's got the handling package - those take bigger rotors. They are from Centric but they are an OEM replacement item.

If they are from Centric, post the part#. Rockauto lists those part# and what car they go with. If you can, measure the diameter.

Smile Mr. Burg and the Handling Package

Hi Mr. Burg,

I don't know how this Thread got started again but really nothing has changed. All the Rotors are made to fit certain types of XKR's. Basically, the XK[R] means it's Supercharged and it most likely will have Brembo Package of some kind....But if it's got the "R" Performance Package it will have the Drilled Rotor and if it has the "Red" Calipers, defiantly...

I've checked with Jaguar Parts and the Cross Drilled Front Rotors for the "Performance Package" cost around $713.00 a piece. Whereas you can buy a much better Rotor from Frozen Rotors that's Factory Drilled and has been Frozen down too something like -300 degrees for 3 days. Go to Frozen Rotors.com and read all about the process and hey check their price's for that drilled Jaguar Rotor! Only $281.26 and check out their Pads while you are there....I've been running a full set for 5 years and it looks like I put them on about 6 mos. ago......Best deal in Town! 4 Drilled Rotors and Pads for about $1,200 BUCKS!
Read about it at Frozen Rotors.com "These Guy's are Good!"

Call 1-888-323-8456 and ask for Mark!

Taken directly from my order email from Parts Geek:

2003 Jaguar XKR Brake Rotor - 126.20015SL Centric - $96.33
Qty Ordered: 1, Qty Shipped: 1
Tracking Number: UPS: 1zxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - Thu 07/28/2016 3:15 PM

2003 Jaguar XKR Brake Rotor - 126.20015SR Centric - $96.33

I double checked the other day and yes, they measure 325mm across.

I don't need these; ordered by mistake and return window closed before I realized what I did. Anybody who wants them let me know, they're useless to me now.

Mr. Mark probably makes great rotors but no need now - brake job was completed a while ago.

Looks like these are slotted front rotors for the mid-level 325mm rotors of the later XK8 and base XKR. Probably a nice upgrade for a lot of cars out there. There are separate part# as the slots need to be mirror-image right to left.

I would say redo your ad with data from Rockauto.com. Search for the part#, and then click on the part# to see what cars it is compatible with. I think you are confusing potential buyers by associating "Brembo" with this set. This has nothing to do with Brembo. Brembo is the manufacturer of the caliper for the the "performance package" that is matched with the larger 355mm rotors.

If by "base XKR" you mean non-handling package, then yes, that's what they are. Yes, Brembos of some type or another were standard on all XKRs after a certain year, if I recall correctly.

The slots are mirror image - different part numbers for left and right.

According to Rockauto, these will work on:

JAGUAR XJR 1998-2001
JAGUAR XK8 1999-2006
JAGUAR XKR 2000-2003

Their price is a bit lower too - $83.99/$84.79. The left part is slightly more expensive than the right. They've only got one in stock for each side though.

I have the Brembo calipers on my XK8 with Whitley 18" wheels and they fit perfectly. I also have Centric drilled rotors and they have been great, no balancing problems and very smooth stopping power.
