Running hot.......or not?

Love,
Given the type of work and experimentation you are doing I would put an Infrared Thermometer in your tool kit. They are pretty cheep from Harbor Freight and sometimes on sale for as low as $25.
You get quick before and after readings plus multiple trouble shooting applications.

This is very random. I was searching this old thread I started. My cause I am sure is that my intercooler pump was not working.
I know this because my fuel pump took a dump. Literally! no codes, nothing. Left me stranded. Spark was good and other trouble shooting lead to the pump. Even though I could hear it in the trunk. ( i have yet to remove it, but process of elimination has me at that resolution ) I found the intercooler pump not working when I checked all the fuses trying to solve the fuel pump. One fuse was blown, I confirmed that is was the intercooler pump, and with just the ignition on you can hear it running.
Now come spring after a $1000.00 dollar fuel pump, the car should run like a dream.
Anyone have any sources for a fuel pump that isn't 1k$ from a dealer??
Thanks - and I wanted to post, as I read many other threads without the originater updating the initial issue......... (pet peeve maybe)
