"Green Shower" is not an issue with the Coupe. i figured I was $5K ahead w/o a Vert. Verts are great, but my Coupe fits my needs and eliminates the uncertainty of when not if failure on the Hyds.?

I personally LOVE the idea of a low-mileage car... especially for resale value. I bought my 2001 about 4 years ago with 25k on the clock and have not had ANY abnormal issues... as long as the car has been garaged and well taken care of, low miles are not an issue. Now if the car sat out for those 13 years in the Florida sun, then that is a-whole-nother story... but you should easily be able to tell based on the overall appearance of the car (it should be almost PERFECT with only 15k on her).

My car has 32,500 miles on her right now and the ONLY repairs I have done are: tensioners (needed on ALL earlier xk8/r's), front and rear shock mounts (disintegrated with age) and new hydraulic hoses and rams and latch (green shower)...

Guys thanks so much for your information and opinions. I called the dealer to find out about the car today and they said they sold it, so the decision was made for me.

I will keep looking, the right car will turn up.
