Starting to think every job on this car is a pain. Changed both belts today. Should have taken a leisurely 1 hour.
It took 3 hours. By far the most time I spent was trying to remove the old SC belt by sliding it vertically up between the
tensioner pulley and the Accessory idler pulley behind it. Due to tight quarters I could not get it off. Finally gave up and
murdered it with the above snips, then flung it out of the garage as far as it would go. Not very professional, but maybe
that’s why I’m not one. The good news is, another job done of the long Jaglist.

Installing both the belts was much easier. The only reason to attempt to remove the SC belt in tact is so you
know exactly where to put the new one. Once you know that, just cut the old SC belt off and save yourself some frustration. The accessory belt was easy off and pretty easy on. The routing is a bit involved.
One tip if you are doing the accessory belt by your self. The AC pulley is the lowest and thus hardest to reach
looking down from the top. The belt can be aligned on the pulley from the underside, even without ramps or jack stands.
