Default SC Coolant bleeding

I just replaced a Norma connector with new heater hose, clamps with a brass barb. Would like to thank Jon89 & motorcarman for their help.
Here is an after photo...

So my next task is obviously to fill and bleed the coolant. I didn't drain the old coolant but just let the coolant drop from the pipe & hoses. It is about 1/2 gallon in the pan.
My question is: do I need to crack open the SC cooler and bleed it (I found it from a XK repair guide)? I checked with my local Jag dealer and the intercooler washer is a special order and it will take at least 7 days for delivery. Therefore, I would not open it, unless I really have to.
What would you do in this situation?
Thanks in advance as always.

I have checked/bled the supercharger coolant on 3 occasions during ownership and always re-used the original washer and not had any problem with leakage etc.
When I saw the quality of the washer I was happy to re-use it.

I’ve reused mine as well. No leaking. However I did use a thin shmear (sp.?) of Hylomar on the threads as insurance.

Well done....

Did you have to cut off your Norma connector, or did it essentially fall apart and slip off its connections?

Good to know that it's actually reusable. If no leaks, I would be happy. Thank!

I had to cut it off cuz it's really stubborn. Found this crack...
