Beautiful car; I also have a 2002 XKR Coupe but I've never seen one that color. I have a real weakness for the coupes.

Those are incredibly hard to find. That's my dream car. That's at least three of them on here now. Love it.

Great combination. Having an 'aggressive' car in non-aggressive colours is really classy, IMHO.

Hey Al;

That really is a gorgeous color.

No question the Coupe's are sexy....and the lines are much better than the Convertibles with the tops up, not to mention much better visibility out the windows....ah but the fun is always getting the top down isn't it?

Hey I see you have that info plate on top of the left shock tower like mine does.

Have you ever figured out what those codes on it mean?

I think we have to get a meet up somewhere.

Fancy a drive through the Alps to the Mt. Blanc tunnel?

OK how did you get a photo to post from Picasa as your signature/garage photo....I am a bear of little brain and haven't figured it out yet.

cheers,

jj

HI jj Just come in. Flying to spain tomorrow for eight days so will be back on line when I return.It will give you a break.

I noticed the plate in my photo too, do you think its some kind of euro compliance tag? We will fix a meeting up perhaps after the snows have gone.
After I got my photos into the system I went into Avatar and just selected one of my photos ( the user CP on top of the page where you sign in.)
Good luck and keep out of trouble.
Al
PS Glad you liked my car we are very lucky to own such lovely machines.

To bad they stopped using the Sea Frost my 07 coupe would look good in this color. For what its worth this version 06 and older has a much nicer interior than the newer XKs. What size are the exhauswt tips?

Hey Al;

My father always said "there is a difference between luck and skill Boyo...."

Have fun in the sun in Spain...

I am supposed to go to Kuala Lumpar tomorrow for a week but the Italian Super Model Wife has just had a horrible reaction to the vaccinations and it all looks iffy right now.

Try not to achieve that nice English Roast Beef Red 'Tan' down there.

Where are you heading exactly.

Seems like a drive to Spain wouldn't be a bad trip either.

Thanks for the Avatar Tip....I finally figured out that you have to reduce the picasa size to thumbnail AND drop out the www part of the auto link that comes up in the window to insert the link when you copy it.

Again may I ask what tires you are running and how do you like them?

cheers,

jj

jj if the tyre question was for me.... I'm running Pirelli P Zero System.
Very sensitive to camber. I was thinking of Michelin Pilot Sports next time.
Anyone here got them on 20s ?

Mal;

I was actually asking Alag about his tires....can't see your tires in the photo.

But I run the All Season Pilot Sports on my V70R....love them...very progressive in break away, quiet, great turn in, not too quick, not too slow.

But you can't get All Season Pilot's over here.....I shipped the Volvo over here with them on it....

Pretty sure you will like them if you can get them and if you do let me know please....I could have them shipped here from the UK when the P-Zero's go.

Though there is another thread on here about all season tires and one member has had great results with Kuhmo's.

cheers,

jj

Hi JJ Sorry I have not replied to your tire question.They are Dunlops SP sport maxx front 255/35ZR20.Rear 285/35ZR20 I am not a high performance driver and not had much chance to try the car under really fast conditions.I have just slightly increased the pressures to 32psi all round its seems better and doesn't tramline as much.Spins rears very easily on take off on wet roads.So just getting used to it and treating it with respect.We went to Moraira on the Costa Blanca lovely weather 20 degrees most days very lucky!
I have been told to keep our chats to Forum matters only.We can exchange email addresses or is there somewhere on the forum to chat?

Did you drive all the way down (and back again) in the Jag? What sort of mpg did you get?
