A number of xkec people have used a company in Maidstone. You don't say where in/around London your are ?
Can be done as a DIY job too.

theres a company based in the uk that sells the leather refurbishing kits so far the one im using looks great repaired a 2 in tear and cant even see it unless you take a magnifying glass to it. time consuming and alot of elbow grease but looks rather good when done.

Smart Repair Centre for Bodywork, Paint and Leather Repairs
As used by a couple of Xkec members. They also attended our Growler meet at Warwick Castle a couple of years ago and did a few cars that day.

Thumbs up Leather Repair

I'm a mobile leather repair specialist, i clean, repair and restore any kind of leather. Certainly dont use the DIY kits as this is not proper pigment and simply dyes the leather crust for a short time, a professional repair will clean, degrease, prepare, apply new pigment and importantly new surface finish to make it wear like new, not simply mask the problem on a temporary basis.

for the record the products i used cleaned, degreased and prepared the leather. it also filled in the cracks and tears with products designed for this and also has a choice of different finishes. very time consuming process . am sure your work looks much better than mine but please dont assume someone is using cheap products on their car. the products i used were from a company called furniture repair clinic i believe.

Not to say cheap, in fact it's most probably cheaper to get it done professionally. DIY repair kits use a self-finishing dye that is mixed with a pigment. This wears back to the same state and will leach dyes from cloths on light coloured leathers. I have tested all these kits and their is no substitute for pure pigment and new surface finish, the years of experience also helps of course.

Did you read wolfpacks post, go have a look at the products from The Furniture Clinic, the sealer is applied in multiple coats after the dye.
