Value is going be a bit subjective. Hard to even weigh in without knowing mileage, color, condition, coupe or vert...
Becoming immobile sounds like a tragedy to me. Especially if it required me to part with my favorite cat. Wishing you the best possible outcome.
One thing you can do is to check past X100 listings on Bring a Trailer's site. You'll see the price range of recent sales, which ones sold and which one didn't, condition, etc. Take it with a grain of salt, however, as they are known for getting the best examples and pretty good prices.

You are in the wrong subforum, I presume. You need to post in the X100 section.
Having said this - my very first Jag was an XK8 (1997 MY) in sapphire blue with a blue top and walnut interior.
Most likely this was the most beautiful car I have ever owned, and at its time, it was technically absolutely up-to-date.
So I can feel with you. All the best for your health…

If the cause ABS warning light being on has been diagnosed as being dirty sensors it might really help the value of the XKR if you could have a family member or friend drop it off at a service center to be fixed. Many people avoid buying vehicles with active warning lights. I hope that is possible for you. Best of luck with the vehicle and your health.
I don't know if this will be of any assistance to you but I am considering putting my 2006 XK8 on Bring a Trailer next Spring. I am thinking that I would set the reserve at $14,000.

Mileage, color, #of owners, service history all factor in. Get the impression that no reserve may increase interest and bidding. Anyone have comments?
