Sensor on top of front. Shock. What happens if I abandon

You can get a set of “regular” Bilsteins for about $400-$500.
But if you want to ulitize the XKR active suspension system it’s going to cost you about $1,600 for all 4 shocks.
For many that’s too much sticker shock and they just put the regular Bilsteins on.
If you do that , you won’t get the better suspension control with the active suspension system and you will degrade the value of the car.
those things may or may not matter to you.
if you use the cheaper shocks you can unplug the suspension control module in the trunk so you can turn off that annoying dash light telling you there is a suspension fault.
