Serial Data link quick question
Yesterday Bob, Motorcarman, was kind enough to reference this diagram when I asked a question about my climate control module (AC Control module in diagram)
The cc's serial link is connected to the key transponder module and the Engine control module. Both of which work perfectly.
My question: can I conclude that since both of these modules work fine, the integrity of the serial network up to the AC control module is and must be working as designed?

It means that the wiring is not an issue downstream of connection FCS15 / 16.
It is still possible that the failure is with the wiring that goes to the Air Conditioning Module specifically although I would think it's a low probability because if if the wiring were damaged and it was shorted to ground or something like that, then it would interfere with the communication to the other modules as well.

You know this other ways too, ECM and KTM work and are networked properly if the car turns on (I assume you likely do not have adaptive damping). Your mechanic's scan only didn't connect with the climate control module suggesting everything else is at least talking. Etc.
