You will be very happy with the standard Bilstein shocks, they will range in cost from around $100 to $200. Rockauto and Autoparts warehouse seem to have the best price.
If you are doing this job, have a good look at the top mounts, the fronts are a weak link on these cars. Welsh does a great poly set for very little money comparative. .

I for one am not very satisfied with Bilstein shocks. Bought car with 37,000 miles and by 45,000 miles they were both leaking. Replaced both and upper mounts which were pretty well gone as well. Now I have have 68,000 and just recently had to replace the left shock as well as the upper mount. Have never had shocks with this poor of a life cycle.
