Show me your rims

CRHINO,
I see you named your coupe Lola. That puts me in mind of what many consider the most beautiful racing coupe ever built. No real competitor to its contemporaries, the GT 40 or the legendary Porsche 917, but perhaps like the XK8, what it lacked in performance it made up in design.
The Lola T70 Mkiii.
Regards,

Everyday, I get so much joy out of driving her...I chose getting this car over a trip to Europe...again, I know the right choice was made.
Good luck on your search for a coupe. They are getting difficult to find for the 2003-2005 years.

My wife destroyed 3 wheels and I lost a complete set twice due to road hazards. If you own one of these low profile setups it's just a matter of time. Fortunately we own a used parts business so I can find replacements fairly easily! Repairing them is an art, though. Balance is critical and finish can be fussy but it is possible to come out the other side with a nice set of factory wheels without paying ungodly amounts of money.

They are indeed but patience will pay off and I have my XK8 which brings me as much pleasure as your XKR does for you. Of course I am in the snow belt and my Lola has been under cover in the garage for months now. Just patiently waiting for April !!

I have a separate insurance rider for the rims, they were $6,000 original to the XKR, and not cheap to replace if damaged.
