Default Side mirrors

Sometimes when I select and try to adjust the driver's side mirror, the passenger mirror moves instead. Then when I release the control knob, it will continue to move. Doesn't happen very often, and it happens both day and night. Rather annoying, I must say, not having control of one's mirrors. Bad switch? BCM? Or......

Skidmark, exact same thing happened to my '98 XK8. Replacement switch cured the problem. If I remember right I got it from the dealer for not too much money. Rev. Sams video removing the door panel will show you how to replace it. Jack

Hi Skidmark I think that has happened to me as well, but I thought I hadn't toggled the switch properly. I will monitor it more closely now.

Thanks Al Hope you sort yours out as pophen said probably the switch.
