I'm the one in Chicago. I just purchased my Silverstone in February from a seller in California. I saw the Registry, but have not registered mine. While I was looking, I saw three of them, but one did not have the factory wheels. Mine is a 2001 LHD with 40,000 miles. First Jag I have had, but loving it! I assume the limited edition would hold a little more value, but I just like knowing that it is unique. Great conversation starter.

I didn't buy mine for the value aspect I try to put a few thousand miles a year on it. It's a driver. We go to Wisc, Illinois and Iowa for weekends. There's some nice county roads in the hills. We're planning a drive to Stone City Iowa on Sunday May 13 or the 20th (rain date) with our British Car Club. Anomosa, Iowa also has a Motorcycle Museum and Grant Woods Art Colony I not sure which one they're going with. We also drove with Rockfords Boots and Bonnets British car club last year and spent a couple of days in Prairie Du Chien Wisc. Driving and testing wines and eating. Had a very good time. Anybody from the Chicago area is welcome to join us. I think there is somebody else in Chicago that owns one that belongs to our forum.

Welcome to the forum. nice car. I've still got the original floor mats. they're slightly fraided. I don't use them any more. I don't think you will find a OEM set. I have to look up the company that made my present mats and see if they can reproduce a set if your interested maybe we can get them to make two. Many of the members have used this company. They have a very nice product. A lot of the pieces would probably have to be reproduced. They didn't make a lot of spare trim parts, Good luck on finding replacements. The Silverstone registry has been down for a while, but all of the information is intact.

To all of the Silverstone Owners, I believe this may be a fluke. but in the last year I know of two that have sold for over $25,000.00. Many still sell for below book value. I don't care for the grounds effect package.

I was wondering how many fellow Silverstone owners are also members of this fantastic forum?
I know there were only 50 coupes and 50 convertibles for the UK market in 2000 and another 200 convertibles for the US in 2001. Forgot how many world wide were produced...
How rare is it considered, other than being an XKR??
Does it fit into the 'exotic class'?

I bought my Silverstone in Walnut Creek, CA. I am the original owner of my 2001 LHD coupe. It has been a wonderful car and has always been garaged and cherished. I bought it to celebrate the north of our son and hope to one day give it to him when I’m too old to easily get in and out of that low-riding seat. Could be awhile! We now live in Las Vegas so the car will never rust. I’ve never seen another like it in 20 years. *Once saw a convertible Silverstone at a Jaguar club meet.

Hi, I live in Winter Park, Florida and have a 2001 Silverstone Convertible. I did not have it until 2023. It has 2,950 miles on it.

I don't know about the current values There is one on Auto trader for $16,900 and I've seen another go for about $17,000 or $18,000, The woman who owned it bought it for her boy friend and just wanted to get rid of it(quoted that right in the description) The British Web Site XKEC,for XK8's and R's mention that they will be more collectable in the future. Probably because of the Limited edition status. Jaguars sports cars have always appreciated over the years. Certain high performance optioned cars have always brought a premium price. Since the Silverstone was developed by their Performance Division I would venture to say They probably will appreciate. I never bought it for that reason, I'll let my kids worry about that. I believe there are a couple of suspension tweaks that are not on the other Jaguar cars, model-exclusive Performance Handling Pack are fitted, wherein ride height is lowered 10 mm. CATS is also specially calibrated for taut handling, with spring rates increased and anti-roll bars modified.
