Default Sport mode stuck

What would I do without your support? PARK? If I was smart, probably!
My latest challenge is my sport mode light. This afternoon I touched the button on and now it won't shut off. I really enjoy the mode but not the fuel use if it is on fulltime. Anyone had this issue? Suggestions?

Funny... This morning I ordered a brake switch. Looks like the cat could have waited a little while before demanding more. This is pretty comical. I can hardly keep up with the parts coming in. Ahhh, but someday....

I believe you can just disconnect from underneath with no warnings etc.

I think that button is a bit pricey and I haven't found the right part number used (not sure which if any are interchangeable).

It would be stupid to think that Jag used a simple toggle switch for anything wouldn't it..
Thanks for your thoughts..

It is a custom and overly complicated switch with a circuit board and electronics and a touchy mechanism. Try spraying a bit of lubricating contact cleaner CRC 2-26 along the edges before doing anything else.

Available at Home Depot: CRC 2-26 5 oz. Multi-Purpose Lubricant-02004 - The Home Depot
