Default Starting question

I have a 1998 xk8. It never spends a night outside. When I turn the key, first time in the morning. she starts right up without turning over more than 1 revolution it seems. Then driving 10 miles and parking for about 2 1/2 hours, it takes approximately 2 or 3 seconds of turning over to start. Consistent every Sunday morning. Not a major problem, but any ideas?

@GGG How about moving OldCoot’s question to the X100 forum? Might get a better answer there.

I've moved your question from X150 to X100 forum. Members here with the same model will be able to help.

Your prayers are not being answered.

Perhaps pause between ign ON and Crank.

Be grateful it starts

A temperature sensor could be a bit off when warm - look via OBD.

While looking, check any other values you can for plausibility.

Thanks for the suggestion JagV8, that's certainly worth looking into.
