Steering wheel adjustment broken?

Steering wheel adjustment broken?
Hi all!
On my new to me 2002XKR Cab, I have now found that the adjustment of the steering Wheel does not work as it should. Or at least not as I thought it should.
I've tried to search the forum but my knowledge in English is limited so I do not know what to search for.
The joystick works. Up and down it will move a few mm and then I have to release the stick and toggle it on to move the Wheel up or down.
In and out it is not moving at all. I can hear an Electric motor running in there but nothing is moving.
Could anyone link me to a fix for this as I am quite sure I'm not the first one with this issue.
Best regards guys!

Here are a couple of threads:

Oddly none of the steering reach or up/down fixes seem to be in the sticky. Maybe one of the mods can fix that.
If you can slide the column in and out by hand though, you're hosed. That means the nylon nut is stripped.
