The trim code for my '01 XK8 is AGD or Oatmeal. Do any of you experts out there know what the code or name is for the contrasting color -- the color of the dashboard, steering wheel, for example? The color is darker than the Oatmeal. I am trying to match it so I can order a Scuff Master dye from Gliptone and cover worn areas on my steering wheel leather.

You might want to try Leatherique.

I ordered the Oatmeal(AGD) dye to re-dye my door armrest. Turned out perfect. I'm sure George will know what the steering wheel colour is.
I have also used their dye on my old Rolls Royce. I highly recommend them.

George who? I ordered my dye from Liquidleather.com in the U.K. Someone there named Peter responded to my inquiry. But he didn't know the name of the contrasting color. On another board where I posted this question, a responder said "maybe it's Antelope." Is that a color?

It's not actually paint, it's a color-matched dye. There are shops that will refurbish your steering with new leather. I Googled it and saw several listed. Problem is, you have to send them the steering wheel. Removing it and reinstalling it requires a good bit of experience. And you are left without your car for weeks while thework is being done. That's why I'm doing a dye-job. A new steering wheel from a Jag dealer will run upwards of $800 plus installation.
