Subwoofer installation

Hello,
I've just bought a used 2005 XKR, and looking at the audio equipment I have discovered that there is any subwoofer in the rear shelf, there is only a pad that covers the hole. (but I thought that there were a subwoofer because the bass is very good...)
I'm thinking to install a subwoofer following some recommendations in several posts, but, does anyone know if there is a wiring pre-installation in the car ?
Thanks
Paco

Yes the subwoofer wire and connector is already next to the hole under the shelf. This cable runs towards the multi connector underneath the armrest, but that is it.
Better to run new cables
There is no pre out but you can connect an aftrmarket amp to thespeaker outputs of the radio. Put 3 ohm resistors in series and a6 ohm resistor in parallel to get the voltage down to suit the line input.
