You could probably adapt a centrifical kit from the Mustang croud but you are probably in uncharted territory and might be on your own as far as inventing things.

Money wise you would probably be better off buying an R but I also understand that sometimes that isn't the point.

Default Wouldn't do it

I looked into this for a while with my old ’98 XK-8 easiest path was to do the swap with a GM LS1/trans and then get a blower for that engine since the kit for the LS is done and there are lots of blower kits for the LS1. You could quickly get into the 400+ range. Not only was this costing several times what the car cost me, the brakes weren’t up to the extra power and smog (wanted to use a crate engine) was a bitch. For less than the cost of doing this I was able to buy a new XKR with far less miles on it. I think that is the easier path. That way you get the power and the rest of the car is designed for it.

Default 290 horses and cant spin the tires

Thats the real problem, hella of a car to cruise in but if u want to do a little tire spinning your fat out of luck. Why is it that this jag cant at least act like a sports car on the bottom end. No tourque on the low side all power comes in around 2200 and thats a little late. well love my car but would love to cut up a little. Looking into camshafts but looks like no one makes a performance on either.... xkr looking better and better

Anything is possible as has been done by the Polish guy who fitted a XKR set up on to his XK8, to get over the compression he fitted a smaller crank pulley to keep the boost down but I knew he was having issues with the ECU and couldn't find anyone who could remap like he wanted....

At the end of the day like I said anything is possible, I have even looked at doing turbo and rotrex set ups but with the hassle of lowering the compression and all the other grief involved the cost far outweighed buying an XKR
