That's right, Los Gatos California, but we have associated shops all around the country that do these conversions using our parts. Let me know where you're located and we'll find a shop close by to do it.
Yes, the Jag trans has to go- it can barely hold up to the stock V8, much less and LS1. We use the 4L60E or 4L65E (4 speed auto overdrive) unit.
Twin turbo may be possible; supercharging is for sure.....
And to give you an idea of what is possible, here is a sample of XK8's converted using our kits/parts. Only the silver car was built by us- the other 2 were customer builds.

And this is a 97 convertible built by another customer (Andre, who is often on this forum) using a 2002 Camaro LS1 and 6 speed manual trans (that's not a typo), The car has been up and running now for over a year....
