Question TCM part# to Transmission part#

I have a 1998 XK8 convertible. The transmission had been swapped out from the original NJB4400AB to NNE4400AA. Also the original TCM (part# LNE2401EA) was replaced. What is the correct TCM part# for the new transmission (NNE4400AA)?
I would love to see a xref list!!!

ALL ZF5HP24 gearboxes will work in ALL 4.0 X100 and X308 Jaguars.

The TCM related VCATS label in the boot is a good reference for the car you are working on.

The ZF5HP24 has several configurations, some with internals and some with valve body internals. Each of the specific configurations has a different TCM module to control the variations. So when replacing the transmission with a different ZF5HP24 it must be compatible with the TCM.
For Example:
My car came with transmission ZF5HP24, ZF Part# 1058 000015, Jaguar Part#NJB4400AB and TCM Jaguar Part#LNE2401EA
A repair shop replaced it with a ZF5HP24, ZF Part# 1058 000026, Jaguar Part# NNE4400AA and the required (according to a tech) TCM is Part#LNC2401AC.
What was installed was a LNC2401AA and the transmission failed after 5k miles.
I want to confirm that the LNC2401AC has the correct programming for the 1058 000026 transmission??

I put a 1998 XJ8 gearbox in a 2001 XJ8 and it is fine after more than 10,000 miles so far.
I put a 1999 XJ8 gearbox in a 2000 XJ8. (works fine)
I always put a new/updated front drum ('A'drum) in before the installation.

ALL ZF5HP24 gearboxes will work in ALL 4.0 X100 or X308 Jaguars.

Can't say I use the TCM not recommended for the car according to the VCATS. I use what is listed in the boot label.

Hi Takeo,

If you replace the TCM transmission-controller and need programming, i can help you with this remotley. We just need a windows based laptop/PC and a J2534-passthru device to connect to obd2 port to communicate with the vehicle.

Contact/PM me if you need help with programming this or any other module...
