Default Thank You! 987 miles of CEL and Warning Message Free bliss!

Thank you to those who have offered support on those issues I was chasing on my XKR. My partner and I just completed nearly 1,000 mile trip around the majority of Lake Michigan and a little side trip up to Lake Superior in it and we had zero CELs, ABS, TRAC or other warning messages. The car ran smoothly and quietly the whole trip. Pressing the sport button and mashing the go-fast pedal rewarded us each time with brisk acceleration and a lovely supercharger whine. Makes quick work of back-road passing of lines of travel trailers... This excellent community in concert with the fantastic resources on JagRepair and TTG have made my first foray into Jag ownership really quite enjoyable.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Next up for us and our machine:
1. Front suspension bushings... I did the top shock mounts with Urethane ones from a chap in Australia but I've got lots of creaking happening related to the upper A-arm bushes. Time to just do it all.
2. Pump, Lines and Rams for the convertible top... this manual top stuff is simple EXCEPT when you have the trunk PACKED and you need access to those Up-relays to short the power leads to raise the rear windows...
