Bernie,
Not sure about reliability but the 2007s are beautiful automobiles. Good luck. As far as finding one, try autotrader.com
There are quite a few there.

Well, Jag just came in #1 for dependability! Seems like they've cleaned up their act quite a bit. If you go to www.jaguarusa.com and click on quality in the upper right, they have some awesome stories.

What ever one you look at, FIND OUT IF THE TENSIONERS ON TIMING CHAIN has been fixed. If they go and you don't trash the motor, the fix is going to be 2500-3500 bucks.

tensioner issues are only for the 2002s and older. the 4.2 engines are rock solid.

Since i've been on here Bernie, i've heard about very few issues with the 07s, maybe because they've only been on the road for a couple years perhaps. My service guy sees mainly driver related repair issues, like hitting those 'turtles' and blowing tires/damaging rims, putting one into a ditch and popping the cabin rollover bars...shoot, i can't even think of him even mentioning an XK warranty repair. I'd feel pretty good about an 07 myself, wouldn't even hesitate if i found one at a good price.

Perhaps someone who has a 07/8 xk8 could reply to my question
