I think the clue was in my phrase of "not a bad cheap option" it is indeed a wrap and not the real thing, but to be honest I dont mind it, it has a textured feel, much better than the fake shiney option (fablon)

Considering I removed all the panels covered them and refitted them for $600, I did not think that was a bad price for the effect, the original wood was a snot green, definately vomit worthy!

 

That looks great. You're about the rings and shiftgate surround. They would make a remarkable difference. Nice work!
