I'm just curious about who has the most and least miles on their cars. I saw that jimrxk8 has 223,000 miles on his car! That's unreal! I guess that there's really nothing to keep these cars from running for hundreds of thousands of miles. Whatever breaks can always be fixed, even if it takes a whole new engine or tranny.
I currently have 38 miles on my car. Yeah... that's right. THIRTY EIGHT MILES! (My odometer displays my mileage in binary :-) )

I'm still amazed at how many new members are finding such low mileage 9-10-11 year old xk8/rs!!! How can those previous owners not like to drive them...boggles the mind.
At pophen's suggestion, the following added:
At over 130,000, my 4.2 and ZF 6-speed is original, nothing needed 'internally' besides fluid changes. I'm afraid, however, he's looking for more 4.0 and ZF 5-speed owners to chime in on engine+tranny longevity that matche his '98.
