Three beeps - 4.2 2003 XKR, ideas?

Hi,
My second request for help, thought this warranted its own post.
Got a 4.2 2003 XKR. After driving for maybe three miles (thereabouts) there are three beeps. Sound more like centre console type beeps in tone, not dashboard warnings beeps (like the lights not on beep), but longer.
The beeps are about 6-7 seconds apart. No warning lights or messages. Car drives fine. All dials bang in the middle.
It seems to always be after the same distance driven. But not every time it starts. I could drive it a bit to the shops. Stop, start up again, move on and then it'll beep once that distance has gone from the initial start up from home. Then won't do it again until perhaps been off for a while.
The fact seems to be the same distance (same point of the road) despite how long it's taken to get there (straight run or stuck in traffic) makes me think not a mechanical issue (pressure, heat etc).
I know the car has been fitted with a tracker. Wondering if this is related to that. The tracker people checked and confirmed it has a dud back-up battery (typical they no longer make so would need a new tracker). When connected to the car battery it's giving off a signal so they could check and confirm the back-up was dead.
Also it's had a Parrot device in the past. Think one of the mics is still fitted, up by the interior light cluster.
I've searched around. Given the knowledge on these cars, would have thought if a known car related matter I'd have found a post somewhere.
I'll check with the tracker people again, but if anyone here has ideas all gratefully received.
Will try and have the presence of mind to record the beeps, upload a sound file if that would help.
Thanks.
