Timing Chain Kits

I purchased a 2000XKR with 184,00 Km on it. Car is in excellent shape, but has no service history, other than dealer stamps for the first 85000Km, with the last in 2004.
I am planning to do the recommended maintenance changes I have read about, but right now am interested in finding reasonably priced supplier of parts, starting with the timing chain kit. It might have been done (runs really quiet),but until I open it up to see....
Cruising the web seems to bring up a large list of parts suppliers and with big price differences. I am wondering how the quality of all these different suppliers rate for service, quality and shipping.
With the difference in the Can/US dollar now, and no other XK8 owners locally that I am aware of, can anyone "North of the 49th" recommend reputable suppliers where they are are buying parts?
In Canada, USA or in the UK?

First, check out the sponsors of this forum. You will get value for your money.
Beyond that check eBay.com. Many suppliers, great prices. For most repair/wear parts the Jaguar cars do not stretch engineering specifications. These days so much of the world's auto parts manufacture is done in China but often to US/GB specifications. Also check out RockAuto.com for a selection of suppliers. RockAuto is more a web based sales site than an actual parts supplier. You get to select the brands and prices that meet your needs.
At 184,000 km I would agree with your direction of replacing the entire cam drive system. Note that the Ford Thunderbird and Lincoln LS 2002 has almost exactly the same engine and Ford/Lincoln parts are very often substantially less than exactly the same parts in Jaguar boxes.

I've had real good luck with Christopher's Foreign Auto Parts. Reasonable prices, quick shipping and great customer service.
He runs specials on ebay quite often also,

Thanks for the pointers. Right now the US $ is worth 1.5 Can $. Prices are starting to get up there once you add shipping.
I have information on the Lincoln parts (secondary tensioners), but I haven't seen anything on whether the primary parts are interchangeable. Gaskets/seals?
Anyone out there try the Lincoln kit?
