Default Timing Chain Replacement Tools

I plan to replace the tensioners, guides and timing chains on my 1999 XK8 and found these tools on Amazon:
Robot Check Robot Check
Does anyone have any experience with these tool set or this brand? The set looks like it is complete for a complete chain replacement.
Any opinions of this set from anyone who has used them?
Thanks,
Jim

That set would appear to be very adequate in doing one side at a time.

[edit] sorry, it has two cam lock down bars.

I highly recommend one that has a cam locker for both sides. If one of the cam slips at all you can kiss your motor goodbye.

Or you could do the zip tie method...

I picked up that set on ebay for $186.00 free shipping, it worked real good definitely up to the task. I've been wrenching for a living for 33 years and consider it a good addition to the tool box.

Mine had a different brand name, but were the same set, worked great.

This kit from Laser Tools might be an alternative.

Default Ordered One

As the OP of this thread, I appreciate the information posted in these replies.
Based on the recommendations and a good price (including free shipping,) I ordered the tool set.
I'll follow-up on this forum with an evaluation after I have had a chance to use the set.
Thanks.

I am the OP of this thread and am following-up on the eBay timing chain replacement tool set. The set arrived via UPS toady and while I haven't had a chance to use them yet, they appear to be well-made and are packaged in a nice blow molded case.
I won't be tackling the chain/tensioners/etc replacement for a while, but will post my experience with the tools after I've used them.
Thanks for the replies.
