I don't know about specialists in your area but have PM'd another London based member who may be able to help.

I've been taking my Jags to Les Pauls Motors in South Woodford for about 15 years - good team, understand that Jag ownership doesn't mean you're Loadsamoney. They recently replaced a rear suspension arm on my XKR and then did a full 4-wheel alignment.

Ask for Kevin or Les.

If that's too 'east' for you, let me know - I've heard some other names mentioned for the west.

I've just had my 2003 XKR done at The Tyre Shop (www.thetyreshop.com) on Chingford Rd just past the old dog track. They use Hunter alignment. Cost me about £76 all infor a 4 wheel alignment, few tweaks and two front tyres balanced (after recent wheel refurb...you'd have thought it would've been done)

Top guys, super friendly and did a cracking job. Just rocked up on a Saturday morning. Les Pauls needed booking in advance and didn't have a spot on a Saturday for a while, oh and they're £145 ish.

Cat handles sublimely now, should've had it done sooner

That sounds the kind of place I'd be nervous about slowing down let alone getting out of the car.

Graham. I'm most surprised. I thought you northerners were a lot tougher than us Southern softies.......lol.

OP, don't fret it's all being gentrified, don't you know.
