I can't find any listing for codes U1260 or U1261 in the literature or service manuals for a '99 XK8. I'm betting they're related to either something in the lighting circuits that are monitored or perhaps in the restraints monitoring circuits.


The description is a + and - fault in the SCP (J1850) = circuit failure. When I run the IDS software (V130.) that's the one area it tells me there's a failure in getting any readings when I run the diagnostics.


Has anybody had this fault before or have any idea what the SCP (J1850) circuits are or where they're located?
