Did you use jaguar contr arm bushings or knock offs. Some of the non brand have been suspect, except for the powerflex bushings, which provide better control IMO. Also, just because an alignment was done doesn't mean it was done correctly. Get it rechecked, and get a print out. Be sure the car isn't on a lift with the wheels hanging just minutes prior to the alignment. Read on the forum about alignment spec too, plant of good info. What about tires... And air pressure, alignment guys like to inflate tires, or over inflate, and for me, it causes poor handling.oh and make sure the control arm bolt is torqued to spec.

I had the tramlining effect (following white lines and grooves etc) that you describe, and from just my own personal experience, tires caused most of it, even fairly new tires to my surprise, which apparently had been damaged by poor wheel alignment. No re-alignment ever resolved it, so I replaced the tires (with a different brand) and it was significantly better. I watch alignment extremely closely now. I then replaced the upper wishbone bushings which were fairly new as well with Powerflex bushings and the effect is nearly completely gone. Also what I found helps is front air pressure at 30. Again, this is me, others may not have the same results or experience.
