Question Up grade for 97 xk8

Anyone has any suggestion for any kind of up garde for my 97 XK8 coupe with just over 75000 miles on it. or should I just leave it the way it is? Is there any suspenson up grade for my coupe other than H&R lowering spring, any one had actually done the lowering on this car? is there a after market sway or struct tower bar for this car?

There are plenty, of companies doing lowering springs, for you guys in the US I guess Mina is your best bet still expensive by my standards.

You cannot fit a strut brace in the standard across the engine bay terms but you can fit the convertible bracing quite easily to give you extra strength.

Depends how much you want to spend, I did this to a 96 XK8

You did that to a 1996 coupe? There were only 2925 made that year It looks awesome, but 25 years from now someone is going to be scrounging parts to return it to it's original condition.

Not me on Ebay I am afraid, I have never sold my conversions on Ebay. And yes to the OE but I have produced something a little different, as below

All the connecting points are there on the coupes.

Look at it this way, I am actually preserving them, I am covering up and protecting all the nasty bits that normally turn to crap, so in time if someone wishes to put it back to standard they can, but I must admit as far as the XF light conversion goes, that would be a hell of a job and quite expensive.

I have quite a few early XK8 coupes around too, my track car was first registered in October 1996, which makes it a very early XK

We've had several experts on this forum- experienced guys and companies that would like to manufacture and sell strut braces for our 8's and R's- investigate whether there is enough room under the hood for anything like this. They have all said there's not enough room.

So this product is highly unlikely to fit. You have to be very careful with what Ebay sellers say will "fit."

No way that will clear the hood especially if you have an XKR the engine rubs on the hood liner as it is.......

Still might be curious to buy one just to proove a point
