RE: Upgrading Brakes
I used NAPA brand. The pads are the Ceramix series and and the rotors where either the "Premium" or "Brembo" series, I don't remember.I do remember that the box for the rotors said they are manufactured to Jaguar specifications. For what that is worth.
I've only put about 4k miles on them but they seem fine. I do admit I haven't made too many hard braking stops yet.
Good Luck.....

RE: Upgrading Brakes
Hey there Jack, I don't know if you saw my brake thread like 6 months back in the XK8 & XKR section, but i did the Akebono Euro's for both front and rear, and upgraded the rotors up front with Brembo, but you can find several suitable brands if you look around. I chose the Akebonos due to the dramatic brake dust reduction over the original pads. Those pads were crazy dusty, and had some squeaks n creaks. The akebonos are quiet all around. Lots of people recommend these, along with the EBCs (EBCs too dusty for my liking, tried 'em!)
