Upper A-Arm Grease Fitting Add-On

While the front end is apart for my crossmember swap, I decided to add some old school lubrication to the ball joints.
We bought four (4ea) grease fittings, sized 1/4-28 for $1.50. The drill size is 7/32nd. Drill into the center of the ball joint carefully. There is about 0.125 inch space after breaking through before the drill will strike the ball surface.
Grease was used to collect drill shavings keeping them from entering the ball joint interior. I also used a small magnet to attract any loose material. Pretty simple modification that will hopefully add life to the ball joints, especially the lower control arms which are pricey.
