I keep looking at my XF tips in my garage, beside my XK8 and really think I'd like something like those on it. I've seen a replacement tip for my XF that has a splitter and thought I may exchange tips between cars if they fit.
I will probably check with a local muffler shop to see about fitting the quad tips, I do like the look. Will follow up with how it turns out.

How much were the tips? Mina gallery has several sets but they come with a exhaust delet kit but they usually sell the tips alone.

I have the Mina rear muffler delete and round tips. If you go with the delete kit, make sure to replace the hangers that they provide with heavier duty units. Their welds break in a matter of days. Great sound!

They were $250 for the pair, also from Gaudin. Mina is an option for sure, but I haven't found a set I like better than the official Jaguar part.

Default No chrome trim ring

I had my tail lights installed without the chrome trim ring in place. I like the look.

It is simple to cut the tabs that hold the chrome trim in place. There is a very small shoulder that is evident on the red lens underneath, but it is VERY small.

Looks great Jeff!

Now about that beaver tail...

How much would it cost you to fabricate a slightly less pronounced one for me?

I think it just needs to transition a bit more to the end. But I like it oddly enough!! Now, if I had put it on, I'd have had a new rear end chewed buy this forum!! Lol

I thought about loosing the chrome but now I'm glad I didn't. I'm getting away from the all blacked out car. On a lighter color, it works better.

Default Washed it...

I finally got a chance to drive it, so I washed it and took a few close up shots of the lens without its chrome trim in the case that someone considers it. You can see the small shoulder that is revealed by the chrome trim removal.

=)

I used to do custom fiberglass work, but I don't offer that service anymore. I'm too busy in the office with other stuff. If I DID price it out for you, you'd think that I was a jerk. Thank you so much for the compliment to even ask. =)

If you follow the steps that I took in the post about how to sculpt one for yourself, you can get it done in one afternoon. Really!

Default Updated look

As I see the Jag next to other cars, it really surprises me how updated the look is. It makes it look like the car is younger. This shot is in sunlight. The techs at Falconworks, after cutting out the opening for the lenses (mine is a 2000), welded the steel to make sure that no structural integrity was compromised.

As I have noted with so many other things automotive, if you can get some celebrity or rapper to drive around with extra lights like that attached to the top of the trunk, in no time you would see this as the next trend.
