Watch those towing guys!!!!
If you have a problem with the Jag and have to call a towing company, when they arrive, don't just get in your buddies car and drive away, watch the guy closely and if he looks a little (dumb) after walking around the car a couple of time's, ask whats going on. Story in point:
I have a friend that has a beautiful 2005 Caddy XLR (the caddy two seat conv.) and the other day, after traveling to a week-end retreat, couldn't get the car to move except in reverse.
After about an hour of doing this and that, called a towing company to retrive the vehicle. When he arrived he looked under the front then the back and again under the front and told my friend who asked, that he was looking for a towing point so he could pull the car up onto the trailer. Then he said he found it, hooked it up and started pulling it up on the trailer. About a third of the way up, there was a loud snap and the whole front bumper came off like a sling shot.
A longer story made short. After two weeks waiting for parts and labor and painting of a new bumper, he has his car back and the insurance company is 3000 bucks lighter. This all took place because of a loose shifting cable.
I told him when he bought the car it should have been a Jag........

Ok first of all I must apologize. Got quite a chuckle from your play buy play.
So your saying there are no tow points or he couldn't find them. These and all cars are shipped everywhere there is at least 4 tie down points. Ugh!
BTW XLR I'll take one please. But I do love my 03 vert XK8. BRG,cashmere and 19 " Apollos.

The point was , don't just assume the guy in the tow truck knows everything about towing your car or, what the tow points look like.
Your right about taking one. They are beautiful cars and the operation of the top is just amazing--art in motion. The new Jag verts are are also nice.
