Waterless Engine Coolant

Waterless Engine Coolant
Ran across an interesting Ad in a Trade Magazine for Evans, Waterless Engine Coolant. Sounds interesting and may even lower the engine operating temp, especially in the summer months.
Has anyone used this product in their Jag and what were the pros and cons?

Lower coolant and engine temps is not a beneficial thing in any event.

Evans Coolant is a good product. My understanding is that it is named after its inventor; and that John Fitch did some work in its development.
It has practical usage in vintage autos which do not use a pressure coolant system. Jay Leno spoke highly of this product, and uses it in some of his collection.
It is expensive and a bit involved to change over as you have to flush out all the water from your system using pure conventional anti-freeze. I have only one experience with Evans, installed it on a Chrysler product ten years ago, and it is still "working" with no problems or worries. Coolant temperature remains the same as OEM.

The 'no pressure' is not from the coolant itself- it's from modifying the OEM set up to prevent pressure build up. The Evans coolant expands with temperature just like any other liquid.
