Sorry to bring back this old thread. I installed the poly mounts two years ago and with only about 10,000 miles they are toast! The left front disintergrated , right front not as bad. The original foam ones lasted 17 years and over 95,000 miles! Hate to have to do this nasty repair a second time.

could you be specific on who Wayne is? After going through too many welsh mounts I went with the eurospares again and they haven’t disintegrated but are not true and causing some knocks. A final solution for us all would be great, it is such a headache for those of us with bad roads and those who drive these models often.

Don't throw away your metal parts, I use those in the rebuild along with what ever kind you have (URO, Blackhawk, Welsh or standard). All are a bit different and a couple require the bushings be filed to fit the lower part of the bell.

As Wayne stated above, each set is a custom build for him depending upon which metal bell housings you have. Well worth the time and expense to ship your components to Wayne for the refurbishment process. This is hands-down the best upper shock mount replacement solution for our cars available today....
