Oh, you guys are a riot!

I don't really care about potency. I like well grown, nicely manicured, properly harvested strains that smell and taste wonderful. There's a strain over here going around called Train Wreck... depending on the hybrid, it's usually a nice pungent fruity smell and a really mellow but happy 'make you smile' experience. I usually prefer Indicas, skunk, purple, kush, etc... They're really great to sit down and slowly enjoy while relaxing. I don't like the really active strains which I'm likely to get panic attacks on. I just love the aroma of well grown stuff.

I really miss a lot of the 80's era strains that just don't exist anymore. Most of the really enjoyable stuff from the Orient, Central America and the Middle East just isn't around anymore and most likely many of them don't exist. Colombian/Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, Chocolate Thai...

Sam you don't know me either, I am a nobody, from the NW, other coast. But I will pass on my prayers for your healing and good health.

If the pot helps thats wonderful and what you need.

I too have enjoyed your videos and they have helped my son and I fix several problems.

Best wishes.

WOWZA!!! Yes! Tell her to hurry, though. My wife will be home in a few hours and I'd like to surprise her. She'll be so happy that I cleaned the house while she was gone. I won't tell her that I had help. We'll have to keep that a secret.

Dammit! I just accidentally broke the vacuum cleaner. Your cleaning lady is going to have to vacuum the entire house with a Dustbuster. I hope she doesn't mind.

My baseboards need cleaning, too.

Sam,
Get that rag top down and give it some stick.
Enjoy yourself and be happy.
Thanks for all the contributions you've made to help JagOPhiles - as simkins already said you helped give me the confidence to buy an XKR.

Ain't that how it goes. Super-expensive, ineffectual, synthetic pharmaceuticals = legal. Super-effective, relatively inexpensive, totally natural plant = illegal.

Salut Sam..

I've been offline for a while, and whilst catching up on recent posts came up with this thread. Can there be any XK8/R enthusiasts who haven't made use of your advice? Get well soon: you're the best workshop manual around!

I know. There's one (elected official) here who happens to be an MD. He "needs more research" before he's willing to consider any sort of allowance for compassionate care use of hemp, because he's "not convinced that cannabis has any medical value". -What goes around comes around. Even the early Egyptians used it to treat sick livestock or somesuch.
And I would bet the farm he's "not convinced" that crime could be reduced if EVERYONE were allowed to pack heat, like the cops. Until then, the criminals just win, and we keep paying his salary long after he's voted out of office.

Hello Dennis, I've read the posts regarding the Rev'Sam and it's clear that he has health issues. I don't want to be the guy that haunts him for jag stuff. Would you know who else I might check with regarding the voltage reducer for the top? I'm hoping somebody can sell me one already assembled. Thanks for any direction you can give me, It's an amazing forum because of the contributors. Bob OBrien bobdukw@aol.com

Send a Private Message to the Rev. He should get an alert to it in is email. I bought one of his voltage reducers AFTER he 'left' the forum by doing that. He had made up a small batch to send out. It works great. You never know, he might have a brand new one just sitting there. =)

Bob,

Far as I know, the Rev's health is better nowadays. I wouldn't worry about sending him a PM. He may have some kits on the shelf. (I did send him your email address, but sometimes it's a few days to hear back ... busy guy.)

Nobody else I know of has made up plug-and-play kits, but it's not too hard to assemble a system on your own. Details in the "voltage reducer" link in my signature line below.

Good luck.
