I have seen some pics of the XKR with a XKR badge below the amber side marker. What year or model is this?

I have a 2003 XKR, and, as seen in my signature, the R badge is below the amber sidelight.

My '05 has the R badge below as well.

I believe the badge started in 2003, along with the change from the 4.0 to the 4.2.
