The factory development cars put on some stellar mileages. I'm sure I've read the figures somewhere but can't find it in any of the XK8 books.
Among forum members, OregonJag has a very creditable total so far. As his signature line says:
'97 XK8 roaming the Pacific Northwet daily. 178k miles....
This puts my 79K in the 'just getting warmed up' category.
